Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, issued a decision to form specialized advisory committees to enhance communication between the government and experts in various private sector fields, as part of the approach aimed at enhancing permanent channels for exchanging visions and proposals to support the policy-making process.
The resolution stipulated the formation of 6 specialized advisory committees and the naming of their members, with each committee tasked with providing opinions and proposals to support government efforts aimed at reforming and promoting the relevant sector, and enhancing the role of the private sector in the policy-making process, through advisory tasks; including submitting periodic advisory reports to the Prime Minister, including a description of the challenges facing the relevant sector and proposing practical proposals and solutions to address them, and expressing an advisory opinion on the strategies, plans, policies and programs adopted by the government, while providing an objective assessment of their impact on the relevant sector.
These committees also participate in advisory discussions related to formulating policies related to developing the relevant sector, in addition to preparing independent advisory assessments on the feasibility of government solutions and policies aimed at promoting the sector in the short and medium term, in addition to proposing advisory mechanisms to enhance the levels of international competitiveness of the relevant sector in a way that contributes to raising its efficiency, as well as providing advice on additional tasks that the Prime Minister may assign to it; in line with the committee’s objectives.
Each specialized advisory committee, headed by the Prime Minister, and attended by ministers and heads of relevant authorities, meets periodically, at least once a month, and whenever necessary, to raise all the challenges facing the sector concerned by the committee, and to propose policies and solutions that can be adopted.
It was stressed that the formation of these advisory groups, which include a group of elite private sector individuals, experts and specialists, will allow for the use of additional specialized cadres according to the nature of the issues raised in each group, in a way that ensures the continued renewal of blood and the promotion of intellectual and specialized diversity, to achieve the highest levels of efficiency in facing challenges and developing innovative visions for sustainable development.
The decision stipulated that the Macroeconomic Committee would include Dr. Hussein Mohamed Ahmed Issa, Dr. Khaled Ibrahim Saqr, Dr. Amani Amin Helmy Hassan Helmy, Hassan Mohamed Hassanein Heikal, Dr. Sherif Hesham Mohamed El-Kholi, Karim Ali Awad Saleh Salama, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Fouad Attia Abdel Rahim, and Dr. Medhat Mohamed Anwar Mohamed Nafeh.
The Export Development Committee also includes Omar Abdel Aziz Ibrahim Mahna, Mohamed Tarek Zakaria Mohamed Tawfik, Ahmed Abdel Aziz Ezz, Hani Nabeel Aziz Barzi, Abdel Hamid Badawi Damardash Ahmed, Ayman Ashry Marjan, Dr. Riad Mounir Armenius, Dr. Alaa Ahmed Abdel Maqsoud Arafa, Ahmed Ahmed Sadek El-Suwaidi, Hani Salim Aziz Qassis, and Fadel Mohamed Ghazal Marzouq Abdel Hamid.
The Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Committee includes Mohamed Ahmed Kamel Azab, Karim Bishara, Amal Ibrahim Saad Anan, Wael Abu Al-Maati, Maged Mahmoud, Tamer Ismail Ali Khalil, Louay Youssef Gamal El-Din Ibrahim El-Shawarby, Dalia Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Ibrahim, Helmy Ghazi, Omar Nabil Ibrahim El-Sahi, Dr. Tamer Saad Mujahid Al-Rajhi, Mohamed El-Sayed Hussein Talaat Okasha, and Hossam Abdel Hamid Seif El-Din.
The Egyptian Tourism Development Committee also includes Hisham Talaat Mustafa Ibrahim, Dr. Kamel Hassan Ahmed Abu Ali, Hamed El-Sheety Mohamed Ali El-Sheety, Hassan Mohamed Hassan Darwish, Hossam Salama Gouda El-Shaer, Ahmed Atef El-Wasif, Mohamed Nader Mohamed Hisham Ahmed Ali, and Basil Sami Saad Masoud Saad.
The Political Affairs Committee includes Dr. Ali El-Din Hilal, Dr. Abdel Moneim Saeed Ali Abdel Aal, Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Kamal Abdullah, and Dr. Gamal Abdel Gawad Moussa Sultan.
The Urban Development and Real Estate Export Committee also includes Mahmoud El Gamal, Naguib Onsi Naguib Sawiris, Wes Ibrahim Lotfy Mansour, Khaled Mahmoud Ahmed Abbas, Amr Ismail Mohamed Suleiman, Tarek Othman Ahmed Shukry, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Saeed Mohamed Shalaby, Amgad Mohamed Ahmed Hassanein Ibrahim, and Ashraf Mohamed Abdel Khaleq Arafa.
