All the benefits we can imagine from this are what we want as a country in the coming period.
He added: In light of the directives of His Excellency the President to the government, we are working on a set of facilities and incentives that will be announced soon, and launched by His Excellency the President, to encourage all areas of investment during the coming period, God willing.
The Prime Minister then moved on to talk about the launch of the new Egyptian satellite “SPNEX”, in light of Egypt’s full commitment to progress in the field of communications and information technology, and also within the framework of the existing cooperation between the Egyptian Space Agency and the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, adding that these efforts come within the framework of the idea of benefiting from scientific research in practical applications, and linking the research of Egyptian scientists with its specific application fields.
Madbouly said: I also stop at the health file, and you accompanied me on the tour that took place in Qalyubia Governorate to visit a number of projects of the presidential initiative “Decent Life”, and you saw the family medicine center that was located in the village in Shebin El Qanater Center, then we moved to visit the hospital and the giant medical complex of Shebin El Qanater Center Hospital, which, God willing, will be completed, be a world-class center at the highest level in a rural area, where we are working to meet the needs of our people for health services that they suffered from lacking in previous periods.
The Prime Minister also mentioned his visit to the Family Medicine Center, saying, “I was keen to meet with the citizens present to listen to their opinions honestly. I stopped to speak with those visiting the center at that time (whether a mother with her child or an ordinary citizen) to inquire about the level of service provided, the doctors' performance, the availability of medical equipment and supplies, and whether medications were being dispensed regularly.” He emphasized, “Thanks be to God, the citizens were completely satisfied with these services.”.
He added: Some women asked me to convey their greetings to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, expressing their appreciation for the availability of these services, as they used to travel tens of kilometers to obtain similar health services. This confirms what I always say, that the “Decent Life” project is the greatest project of the 21st century for the Egyptian state, and this urges us as a government to accelerate the implementation of its next phases, given the utmost importance of this file in completing the development of the rest of the Egyptian villages. Despite the huge cost that the state bears in implementing this project, its social return is what we are reaping the fruits of today.
The Prime Minister concluded his remarks by addressing the health sector, referring to the previous meeting with the Eni Petroleum Company Foundation and the Italian global company San Donato in the field of medical care. He explained that this meeting was a follow-up to what was agreed upon during the President's meeting with the head of Eni. He noted that the company head had presented to the President that, within the framework of the company's social responsibility projects in Egypt, there is a financial allocation that is spent on social projects. He explained that the President requested that the company take over the management and operation of more than one hospital in Egypt, as the foundation spends on the management and operation of this medical facility and brings in the best foreign doctors to help Egyptian doctors provide the best service to Egyptian citizens free of charge, because the foundation is responsible for spending and funding within the framework of its social responsibility.
He added: “The idea was to establish a group of hospitals that would be adopted, managed, and operated by this giant company, providing the highest level of medical service. Previously, if Egyptian citizens needed such services, they had to travel abroad. The goal is to bring these hospitals to Egypt, staffed by top international doctors alongside Egyptian physicians, with funding provided by international organizations operating in Egypt.” During the meeting with representatives from Eni and SanDonato, the agreed-upon steps were reviewed, and the implementation process was discussed.
